Competition Category

Competitors are limited to 15 Professional, 15 Non-Professional, and 6 Little Kings.
We encourage ETAs to register as soon as possible.

Each ETA will receive

• one free ticket to the Kick Off Party (which will be given at the entrance to the venue)
• a welcome bag at the ETA meeting prior to the commencement of the festival
• up to 2 tickets for the Saturday Night Headliner show
• up to 2 tickets for the Sunday Finals
• a lanyard that allows full access to the park and backstage at the park
• a lanyard for your assistant (if you have one) that allows full access to the park and backstage at the park
• a free ticket for the After Party and dinner
• a reduced rate ticket for a plus one for the After Party and dinner
• a souvenir program for the current year's Penticton Elvis Festival
• plus more
• Total Value $400+

Professional

1st Place:
$2500 cash prize, a trophy, a gift certificate from Pro Elvis JumpSuits (Nanaimo, BC), and entry into the Ultimate Elvis Competition in Memphis, TN.
Upon completion of the UEC in Memphis, the winner will be reimbursed up to $2,000 for travel expenses for travelling to and staying in Memphis for The Ultimate Tribute Artist Competition. (Receipts required)

2nd Place:
$1000 cash prize

3rd Place:
$750 cash prize

Non-Professional

1st Place:
$1000 cash prize

2nd Place:
$500 cash prize

3rd Place:
$250 cash prize

Little King

1st Place:
$200 cash prize

All Prize money will be paid in Canadian funds.

Sunday Gospel 9:00am

All Gospel show participants will be contacted via e-mail regarding song selection

Note: we do expect all who agree to the Gospel Show show up and perform, no matter how you were judged during the competition

Professional: $150

Non-Professional: $125

Little King: no fee

Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Exception: If you win First Place in another Ultimate Preliminary Contest in the current Ultimate Elvis year, you will be unable to compete in the Penticton Elvis Festival for this year.  Your registration fee will be refunded.

All applications are reviewed by the Penticton Elvis Festival executive and upon review the applicant may be requested to provide videos, pictures and/or YouTube links showing them performing as Elvis. We are looking for those tribute artist who best represent and honour the legacy of Elvis Presley.

Who do we consider to be a Pro?
We do take this category very seriously as should you win at the Penticton Elvis Festival, you would be representing us at the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest in Memphis TN. The Elvis Tribute Artist (ETA) entered must prove they have won a previous contest and/or are performing on a regular basis as an ETA, if asked by the Penticton Elvis Festival.

Who do we consider to be a Non-Pro?
The ETA we consider to be a non-pro is someone who want to bring a bit of Elvis magic back.  They have not competed and/or won a Elvis Tribute Artist Contest.  As the Penticton Elvis Festival is serious about putting on a excellent festival for our fans, we may ask for non-pro performers to provide video, pictures and sound bites of their capabilities when performing Elvis.  Our non-pro winner does advance themselves to the “pro” category for following years with our festival.

Who do we consider to be a "Little King"?
Any child between the ages of 3 to 15.
They will perform Friday and Saturday and be prepared with songs to perform in the Sunday Finals.
They will be judged and scored with the same scoring sheet the Pro and Non -pros get judged.
The competitors will also be able to perform in the Sunday Gospel show if they choose.

All Elvis tribute artists competing must adhere to the Official Rules and Guidelines of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. Any Elvis tribute artist who is unable to meet and adhere to these rules and guidelines will be disqualified from the contest.
The list of the 2027 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest Rules and Guidelines will be available once Elvis Presley Enterprises posts them.

All competitors may be vetted prior to acceptance into the Penticton Elvis Festival.

All competitors will sign a Non-disclosure Agreement with The Penticton Elvis Festival.
